Literature based Paper Crafts

This 6x8 Harry Potter piece originally didn't have Hogwarts in the background.  After I started working on more elaborate pieces, I went back and redid the entire piece.

This 6x8 Gregor the Overlander piece was my first venture into more elaborate nets.  The bat's wings were cut from two different textured browns and are cut as only 2 pieces.  I twisted the red and yellow paper to show the fire and they actually span across two layers.

This "Very Hungry Caterpillar" piece was created as my mom's Mother's Day gift.  She is an ex teacher and love's the work of Eric Carle.  To mimic his unique tissue paper art style, I painted the cardstock with water colors.
