New Totoro 3-D Design

For Taiyou Con 2018 I am creating a bunch of new designs including this new 3-D Totoro piece. 

New Majora's Mask silhouette designs

I really like how these two Majora's Mask silhouettes turned out.

3-D portrait

Now that Christmas has passed, I can finally post these pieces! These two 8x8 3-D paper dioramas were commissioned as a Christmas gift and they feature the customer's parents. I was also asked to frame the original reference picture in matching colors. It's hard to tell, but the photograph floating in the second frame is raised the same distance from the background as the 3-D piece.

How To Train Your Dragon 3-D paper diorama

I created two 3-D paper dioramas featuring Toothless from How to Train your Dragon.  One is for my mother as her Christmas gift and the second will be at my booth at Taiyou Con.

Mokona 3-D paper diorama

I love the work of Clamp and one of my favorite reoccurring characters is Mokona.  This Mokona 3-D piece will be at my table at this year's Taiyou con.  I hope to see you there!

No Face 8x8 3-D paper diorama

This 3-D paper diorama features the No Face mask from Spirited away.  The 8x8 mask stands out over 7 layers off of the back for an incredible 3-D effect! The photos do not do it justice.

The Girl Who Leapth Through Time 3-D paper diorama

I improved my original design for my "Girl who Leapt Through Time" piece and I made the clouds pop off of the back.  This 8x8 piece will be at my booth at Phoenix Fan Fest.

Protoman 3-D paper diorama

The Protomen are one of the best concept bands ever assembled.  Their first album is amazing and tells the story of Mega Man in a dystopian future.

Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid 3-D piece

Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid is an amazing anime!  It surprisingly has a lot of heart for such a weird premise.  This 8x8 3-D piece features Tohru in my minimalist style with the shadow of her dragon form.

I've been experimenting with different silhouette styles and I'm happy with how they are turning out.  These two hand cut 8x10 pieces feature Haruhi from "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" and Konata from "Lucky Star."  Both will be at my booth at Phoenix Fan Fest.

I created this 3-D Tantabus for my wife's anniversary gift.  I incorporated glow in the dark paper into the background.
